Can I use the flame effects without the heater running?

Yes, the LED flame effects and mood lighting operate completely independently from the heating function. You can enjoy the realistic flame visuals and 13 colour lighting options throughout the year without any heat output. The flame effects run silently when used without the heater.

How does the programmable thermostat work?

The remote control features a 7-day programmable thermostat with LCD display. You can set different temperatures for each day of the week. The system includes room temperature sensing, open window detection and adaptive start control that learns your heating patterns to optimise energy efficiency.

What are the heat output settings available?

The fireplace automatically adjusts between 1kW and 2kW heat output based on your thermostat setting and current room temperature. You can also manually select 1kW or 2kW settings. The system meets 2018 Eco Design requirements for energy efficiency.

How difficult is the assembly process?

The fireplace arrives flat packed with simple instructions and alphabet coded stickers for easy identification of parts. Assembly is relatively straightforward but requires two people for the later stages. You'll need a screwdriver and the process typically takes a few hours with clear step-by-step guidance provided.

Can I mount a TV above this fireplace?

Yes, the off white surround is suitable for mounting a TV above. However, for safety reasons, if you place a TV on the mantelpiece, you must secure the entire unit to the wall using appropriate brackets. The front outlet design prevents heat from affecting equipment mounted above.

Where is the power cable located and how long is it?

The power cable is 1.7 metres long and exits from the rear right-hand side when viewed from the front. This positioning allows for flexible placement while keeping cables tidy. The unit requires a standard electrical outlet and operates on corded electric power.

How much noise does the heater make?

When using flame effects only, the unit operates completely silently. With the heater running, there's a low level of fan noise which is typical for electric heaters. The quiet operation design makes it suitable for living rooms and bedrooms without causing disturbance.

What should I do if the remote control stops working?

If the remote loses connection with the fireplace, there's a reset button that allows re-pairing. This occasionally happens and is easily resolved. The remote features 11 buttons controlling all functions including flame brightness, colour settings, temperature control and timer functions.
