Does this fire require professional installation?

No professional installation is required. The fire comes with wall mounting brackets and detailed instructions for DIY installation. You simply need to secure the brackets to your wall, hang the fire and plug it into a mains socket within 1.5m reach. No gas connections, flue, or chimney work needed.

Can this fire be recessed into the wall?

Yes, the Bach can be either wall-mounted on the surface or recessed (inset) into a wall cavity. When recessing, ensure adequate ventilation around the unit and follow the installation guidelines for clearance distances. The 18.3cm depth makes it suitable for most standard wall constructions.

How do I control the temperature settings?

Temperature control works through the adjustable thermostat dial and heat setting buttons. Choose between 1kW or 2kW heat output, then set your desired temperature using the thermostat. What happens if the remote control stops working?
